Best option for fish flavored cheesecake around. My wife didn't like the shrimp cheesecake but the kiddos loved the chicken nugget cheesecake. Very creative flavored and great service. Restrooms were so clean we opted to eat in them.

The cheesecake is SOOO good :-) Two friends and I visited Hope's for the first time last year. I ate one inside and took 2 to go. The raspberry is one of my favorites. You really can't go wrong with any of the options. I believe I took home one turtle and one Snickers for my family. I tried some of theirs also. They're all just so creamy!! You can really tell the baking craftsmanship in the appearance and delicious taste of the cheesecakes. Hands down some of the best cheesecake I've ever had!

This place made our vacation! While honeymooning in gulf shores me and my wife had a sweet tooth so we hopped on yelp and found this amazing little place. Not only did it satisfy our craving...but we formed an addiction for it over our week stay. We returned every night of our trip and every time we were amazed by the selection of cheese cake flavors, always fully stocked. I absolutely love that they sell them in single slices so you don't have to have what your "significant other" is having. But there will be plenty of sharing! Lol. Do yourself a favor and try hopes cheesecake. Also remember to pin your state in the front entryway. Everyone in the world loves hopes!

This is probably the best cheesecake I have ever had!! They have several options from large full cheesecakes to individual slices to sampler packs. We got a chocolate sampler pack and two individual slices. Nothing we had was bad. It is great for a snack during the day or dessert later after dinner. I will be going back next time we come into town.

I don't know what they do here but it is beautiful. Trust me, you have not had cheesecake unless you have had Hopes Cheesecake. Cheesecake Factory will be a joke to you. Hopes Cheesecake is made fresh the old fashioned homemade way. Nice thing is (like we did) you can get just a slice to go if you want. They have seating there but everything is ready to take away if you just want to run in. We got the chocolate marble and the cookies and cream...exceptional! They also have cool iced sugar cookies that are wonderful as well...great for kids (and adults......)

This is a cute little shop with truly helpful and friendly owners! This shop is crazy about cheesecake and has about two dozen selections to choose from. The cheesecake slices are $4 each. If you want the whole pie it is $26. You can even order and have it shipped. I recommend the peanut butter chocolate cheesecake or turtle cheesecake!!! Or get a sampler so you can get a variety of cheesecakes. A specialty shop that doesn't disappoint! If in Gulf Shores (and I think almost all of us raised in NOLA have been to Gulf Shores before when we were kids) stop on by. A must when I go to Gulf Shores.

I can only comment on one slice of key lime, but that slice was excellent. They had slices of 15+ flavors, which was nice for the picky types. Note that the hours shown on Yelp and their web site are confusing; in addition, we stopped at 8:30 when they claimed to close at 8 and they were still open. Odd, but good for us.

Absolutely delicious! A vast selection of different flavors and even a few treats for those who may not like cheesecake. Very friendly and pleasant clerk who was helpful and attentive. Had the raspberry cheesecake and it was perfect, both in flavor and consistency. Just under $5/slice is fair for the size and even more so for the taste... Awesome stuff :)

Boys and girls this is the place to go for cheesecake and sweets! We hit this place every year when we are in the area and have never been let down. Worth a stop in... All original recipes from the gal that originally opened it too. Their chocolate chip cheesecake and turtle cheesecake are flipping sweet!

Don't miss this place! We visit the area twice a year and would weigh 300lbs if we lived any closer. Absolutely delicious, creamy, topping choices are just perfect but even the plain is well worth the caloric intake. Love!!

I love Hope's! I have been twice now (both times on vacation) and I have to say, this place was fantastic. They have a diverse selection and I really feel like you can't go wrong no matter what you choose. This is a great place to stop by for dessert!

Our first visit to Hope's Cheesecake was last night on vacation. I was very impressed with the selection. A variety of options were available. We ended up getting the sampler pack ($12) which gave us a many choices and the chance to try more than one cake. The cheesecakes were bite sized and delicious. The dining room of the bakery was small and not a place you would probably want to sit and stay for a while. I would highly recommend their cakes. Delicious!

This place is deadly. Key lime cheese cake was a 10. The 12 piece sampler was a great desert for dinner for 2. Do not go near this place if you are dieting. Clean and very friendly

Key lime pie was a real favorite! There are small collections of cupcake sized samples that are good too and plenty of cake for a family of four. We got the signature samples of six cupcake sized cakes for twenty dollars and a ten inch cheesecake for forty dollars. Our complaint is that the coolers are kept so cold that the cakes were frozen on the inside

LOVE LOVE LOVE me some Hope's Cheesecake!! They are a little on the pricey side, but I treat myself to some every time I hit the Gulf Coast. The person that said people need to live a little and go to The Cheesecake Factory is way off base. Hope's is amazing!!

If you think this place is great, please go to The Cheesecake Factory and live a little! Hope's is AWFUL! I have had store bought cheesecake that tastes better than this. My husband got Reese's peanut butter and he said he could barely taste any flavor. Mine was the same, lacking in flavor and tasted like it was sugar free (but it wasn't). If only the taste was the only thing wrong with it but it is also a rip off! They charge you $7.00 for the littlest piece. When i saw how small they were i kept thinking this surely has to be the best cheesecake in the world for this much money. Sadly mistaken. You can see from my picture that the pieces are barely bigger than the end of a regular size dinner fork. They have on their website that Southern Living said "Quite possibly, some of the best cheesecake I've ever put in my mouth." (Southern Living® 2002). There is a reason they said that in 2002 and not ever since then. That was 9 years ago!

After a twelve to sixteen hour drive most people just want to hit the beach or hit the bed. My family invades Hope's. Each first trip into Hope's cost me more than the tank of gas I put in the car at the station up the street. Everybody has to have their favorite. And then they have to have one to take on to the condo. If anyone is coming over or we plan to vegetate the next day, there might even be a third piece. It is not exotic. Nor is it touristy. It is what it is; a tiny little simple shop that makes the best cheesecake around. Space can get tight when the day is hot and the cheesecakes are cold. We eat at most every joint from Mobile to Pensacola but leave room for Hope's. Check out the website and prepare for some tough choices when you get there.

I was one of the first to really love this place. You could taste the handmade deliciousness of every slice. I was told that the owner had sold out over a year ago on this visit. You can tell. What I got was some manufactured tasting fake and fluffy cheesecake. Not the dense handmade stuff of the past. What I also got was a serious shock to the wallet. If I am driving past and really craving cheesecake-maybe. But, I won't drive out of my way during vacation again.

I thought it was an outrage that Hope's had such a low yelp review...so I decided to compensate with a resounding 5 star rating. We ordered a 10 piece sampler (5 flavors, 2 pieces of each) for my husband's birthday. We were family of 6 with different tastes...and each one of us liked a different flavor so it was perfect. My favorites were the raspberry and blueberry--the chocolate chip cheesecake also very good! It wasn't too rich and the crust was just the right crumbly consistency. And it keeps well in the fridge. We didn't even bother using plates...we just dug right in.
